eCDR: spanish
General Instructions for Spanish Trajectory:
1. Open the eCDR form on e-projects. --> “Transfer Credit or Language HUA CDR” --> “Are you submitting this CDR for transfer credit?” Click No if for CDR.
2. Choose your advisor in the drop down menu on the “Select your advisor…” This person taught your 6th Spanish class.
3. Course Name (Type the last course you took in the Spanish sequence)
4. In the “Project Title” section, you will type “Spanish Language”
5. In the “Abstract” section you will identify your case according to the last course you took at WPI and according to the descriptions listed below under "Cases.” This is important, since this will determine the abstract portion of the form.
6. Copy the case that corresponds with your trajectory (substitute the brackets with your name) and paste it onto the form in the abstract area.
7. Once that you have completed this form click on “Submit and Finish.”
8. IMPORTANT NOTE: Send a copy of your WPI audit (available on Workday—your unofficial transcript) to your advisor via email. Highlight your Spanish courses and transfer credits. The final grade for the HUA Requirement will be the average of all your Spanish courses you have taken as they appear on your audit. You must have a total of six distinctive lines related to Spanish on your audit.
9. If you have taken 3 or more years of Spanish in high school you are entitled to the accreditation of 1/3 of a unit; the form is attached below. If the credit doesn't appear on your audit, you must request this transfer through Academic Advising. However, one of the Spanish professors must approve the transfer. You will need their signature.

In other words, it should be clearly stated that the sequence of five courses for the degree requirement in Spanish ended with a written essay in Spanish (your title for the IS/P or Seminar Project) that explored a topic in Latin American/Spanish culture and civilization, or literature. Your IS/P professor can help you compose this case description.
